The challenge of designing an apartment in the prime of New York City was to successfully manifest our theory of Design and Budget through a style reflective of its affluent neighborhood, while keeping it refined and elegantly minimal to fit our client’s spend frame. An area known for its chic boutiques, lavish restaurants and luxury real estate; our design had to connect with its well-heeled inhabitant while satisfying his budget principles.

We used a brilliant scheme of gold and black veined marble, rich black wood and gold accents to embody the sense of luxury. We had magnificent marble slabs swirled across the modern kitchen, adorned with contemporary light fixtures and elegant barstools, in sheer demonstration of unique affluence. In the dining room we chose the same black and gold hues, magnificent against the stark white marble floor. We decked the walls in a collection of upscale paintings, with ambient lamps perched on a freestanding buffet table, nestling the room in an aura of grace and formality, and the home in opulent splendor.
