Born out of a derelict space known as the eyesore in Brooklyn, the newly renovated Brooklyn Bay Lofts has attracted the attention of all those in the area. The desired design direction was to be ultimately cost-effective, while considering materials which were visually dynamic, unique and marginally hip. Incorporating a mezzanine style, the clever spatial planning allowed for unimaginable airiness. Conceptual items like the radiant backsplash, the striking wall covering and the contemporary ladder leading up to the mezzanine area accentuated the wild and fun aesthetic. In essence, what was created was an innovative space to facilitate inspirational visions and organic thoughts.
